My side, Villarreal, have been wonderful in La Liga. They’re currently 3rd, one point behind Real Madrid. In Champions League? They’ve been hopeless. Their campaign basically sunk after losing to the Cypriot side.

This is the exact reason Chicago said they were not bidding, I believe.

Sleep no more

But does the league have any power within the CBA to not allow the maneuver? Sure, it’s a definitely an attempt to circumvent the rules. But still could be permitted by the letter of the CBA. What I find most interesting is that Kang is openly opposing the other owners.

You got tickets? Awesome.

The NWSLPA coming correct! They know this isn’t about just Rodman, is trying to suppress all salaries by keeping the benchmark lower.
December 4, 2025 at 3:41 PM
That’s exactly the message they want to send. We will not pay top dollar for talent if it pulls up all salaries.

So the owners of Chicago, Louisville, Orlando, Houston, Utah, North Carolina, Seattle, and Portland and/or San Diego. That’s well more than half the league. Only DC, KC, and Gotham are truly ambitious. I can’t tell if LA and Bay lack ambition or are just really bad at it yet.

Berman’s just running interference on behalf of the league’s cheapest two or three owners.

This is as veteran as the USWNT has been since the Olympics!

I was just walking through Franklin Square. Cops flying all over in cars at high speed.

Or you can draw Jordan or a team like Italy in Pot 4! This is going to produce some screwed up stuff.
November 25, 2025 at 6:19 PM
You can draw either Morocco or Croatia, in the same pot with Australia or Austria. That is a big cliff to drop off.
November 25, 2025 at 6:10 PM
They’re one of the smartest clubs in Europe because they buy low, young or out favor players, and sell high. I’m thrilled for the USMNT if Alex Freeman makes that move. He’ll be in line for real minutes and will have a manager not likely to be sacked soon. Expect Villarreal to keep shopping in MLS.

Or you bring in Trinity. And the she is matched up with Reale on a yellow.
November 23, 2025 at 2:13 AM
We could use Trin. Kouassi has been the worst player out there for either side. Reale pushed her around and took her lunch money.
November 23, 2025 at 2:12 AM
That Howell tackle was a textbook yellow. Late with studs showing.
November 23, 2025 at 2:04 AM
It’s been a hard year for the city. I really want this one.
November 23, 2025 at 1:19 AM
Jona has always been a “system guy.” Adrian is a “matchups guy.” Jona wants to suffocate you with excellent execution. Adrian is always shifting his personnel based on availability, fit, and opponent. With such an insanely deep team, Adrian’s modus operandi seems to be a bit better fit.
November 21, 2025 at 6:44 PM
By “fight for her” Berman means “do nothing and try to justify the inaction in the media.” I think NWSL is by far the best league in the world. But to suggest that Trinity is less of a competitor because she can probably double her salary elsewhere is some bullshit.
November 20, 2025 at 8:13 PM
Plus, the way Vlatko played his starters big minutes in meaningless games and then they got injured is disqualifying in itself.

Looks like the ball knowers do know some ball.
