They have lost their minds. They've been validated in losing their minds. They're tirelessly working to make their views and impulses immovably correct whenever they decide.

God help us all.

Growing up and living in Fargo, it's been a personal irritation. We don't all talk like that and the movie should be called Brainerd.

That having been said, perfect film and they made all the right choices for it.

I'm partial to songs that sample the original themes in cool ways like PR Zero or Pokémon Orange Islands. But I also love theme songs that go way harder than the show itself: youtu.be/zQ_ntRiVZE8?...

This is the first I've heard of this movie, I'm very excited!

Wish that Tartakovsk's Fixed received more attention and went to theatres. The traditional animation in that was so good.

Romanticism being prioritized over horror in a Guillermo del Toro movie? How surprising!

Wow, Danger is in the cast. Xavier must be making amends to multiple children he's wronged.

It's not just the dorks. It's the press and shareholders who push a narrative that the only form of success is exponential growth forever and ever. Even though nothing has ever maintained that unreal metric for very long.

I still maintain we will be seeing our first Weekend at Bernies presidency. His party will be too afraid to acknowledge the obvious truth and the Democrats will be careful to not offend a corpse.

Jubilee
Rogue
Gambit
Wolverine
Nightcrawler

But that order can change completely in specific books or adaptations

"I'm housesitting for my boss"
"Our relationship has gotten stale"
"I don't want my weird relatives staying in my home"
"A famous burglar just escaped from prison"

Guess which house those storylines collide in!

This is more structural, but nothing beats a solid "3-4 completely separate subplot on storylines in a collision course with each other."

Yeah, that's almost every sitcom. But sometimes it's done so seamlessly that it feels like watching a magic trick.

Also, maybe my personal history doesn't go back far enough, but how often does the first dem who gains traction become the one who actually runs? Aside from 2016, our recent candidates were not the ones getting attention early on.

Disney XD was airing that library a lot right before they bought Marvel and I remember rumblings about there being a conflict between Disney and Marvel over the rights to those. It had to have been a factor.

I'm assuming other WB shoes (Animaniacs, Tiny Toons or the Merrie Melodies package) would be the ones in contention for second best.

WB is in this position because they didn't put all their eggs in one basket. They had a diverse slate where each film had a distinct sell that any audience could understand. This is far better than trying to engineer nonstop billion dollar hits. This leaves WB and the industry with a path forward.

I believe it made back its budget on DVD, but the 2011 Winnie the Pooh is absolutely perfect and still has not found any sort of following.
