Update on the outside cat situation. The Void let me get closer than ever on Sunday. Two steps closer and it ran about 10 feet from me. A new stray showed up last week. Super skittish like The Void used to be. It'll get used to me and my treats.

Update: I made it. I call it the Cat Shack. Took part of Saturday and put it together. The best part? The Void was in it when I left for work this today! It poked its head around the corner, saw me step out, and went about 10 feet from me and laid down. It was back in the shack when I drove off.

This void has been coming around my house since spring. Very shy and runs away whenever I walk out the door. Yesterday I put some food out and it came back right away. I put some more out after it wandered off. It ate some and left a little, then spent a big part of the afternoon napping.
