![Neo-Nazi group claims discrimination after being booted
from Guildford pub
A neo-Nazi group that was evicted from a Perth pub after its management realised their political views claim they have been "discriminated against".
The group call themselves "White Australia", and said they intended to host the event as a "political seminar and dinner" at the Stirling Arms Hotel in Guildford at the weekend.
However, the pub said it did not have prior knowledge of what the group represented.
"Shortly after becoming aware of what the event represented, all content was removed from within the venue, the event cancelled and the guests were asked to leave ... we are a community based pub that welcomes all," the pub's management said on social media.
In a post to social media, the white supremacist group said they "moved down the road" to the nearby ANZAC memorial, and "finished the night there".
For new members, the group said it was "a good introduction to our world".
"[It] showed them the kind of persecution and discrimination that we face on a daily basis," the group said.
Australia's Race Discrimination Commissioner Giridharan Sivaraman has previously said neo-Nazis and white supremacy in Australia frequently discriminate against other races as a part of their rhetoric.
