Criticising Pete Buttigieg for adopting and legitimising GOP attack lines against Democrats isn't "Dems attacking Dems". It's Dems criticising other Dems for throwing their colleagues under a bus.

The Dems old guard just spent millions trying to bring back Cuomo. You're in a political party, not a cult. Challenging each other to defend your ideas is precisely what you should be doing.

I would argue Dems not fighting other Dems is precisely why Biden didn't commit to not re running and didn't allow enough time for primaries. Solidarity at all costs isn't a winning formula either.

i broadly agree with that but would add that No adult should be allowed to pay for sex with a minor, irrespective of age difference. if you want to post for sex, you have to choose an adult

The goal of this bill is to do more than prevent later abortions, they want to open the door to criminal investigations on anyone that experiences a still birth. That means a lot of access to private medical information.

If you want to define ultraprocessed food as per the Nova scale, do that. not everyone agrees that is the right scale and not everyone agrees obsessing over levels of processing is useful.

The point is that the definitions are not settled and not everyone thinks it's a useful categorisation. Some do use Nova in this way but it was not designed to be nutrition scale.

If people had a genuine choice regarding whether they're in a faith-based aged care facility, the advocates of this bill might have a point... in practice, to access publicly-funded services, in many areas it's impossible not to use a faith-based org .
