There can also exist democratic communism. It doesn’t need a tyrannical leader to function. Leaders could be voted on by the public, and this same public could have control of the wealth that they produce through their work rather than that wealth going to just a few.

Concrete making emits a lot of CO2. The CEOs of these tech companies don’t care that communities will suffer from more climate disasters. As long as they’re rich, everyone else can suffer. Unless we demand accountability from corporations, this will continue to happen.
