I rolled credits on Final Fantasy VIII for the first time tonight. Holy shit, the game was so much better than I was expecting it to be. I loved it. After my incredibly mid experience with my first play of IX last year, this game’s story, characters, and gameplay all blew away my expectations. 🗡️
