I love the subtle undercurrent of grief here, of the cyclical nature of longing and reaching out, the connection between pōhutukawa and wairua. This reads like a living bridge growing between worlds at the pace of a seed sprouting into a tree, of slow hope building.

Not too sure about this one, I might gut it for parts, but I like the way some of the words tumble into each other and those parts were fun to write.
