At least 159 Palestinians in Gaza have starved to death amid Israel's ongoing siege blocking most humanitarian aid from entering the territory. Meanwhile, Israeli forces continue to kill scores of Palestinians on a daily basis, including at food distribution sites widely described as "death traps."

Earlier this week, the Senate voted 70-27 against a measure introduced by Vermont's Bernie Sanders to block $675 million in additional U.S. arms sales to Israel. While many Democrats joined the effort, both Schumer and Gillibrand voted no.

People power can — and shall — end state, corporate, and institutional complicity in Israel’s ongoing genocide against 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza, and decades-old regime of settler-colonialism, apartheid and illegal military occupation.

Every day Palestinians are met with carnage in their attempts to receive supplies from the insufficient amount of aid trickling into #Gaza.

The medical team responding to the influx of patients had to clear the maternity ward to make space for the wounded, turning delivery rooms into emergency operating theatres.

Many of the injuries required amputations to save the patients' lives.
