The only thing I've seen of it was one retweet telling people to go into their Settings on turn off something-or-other, and every single comment replying "OH GOD WHAT HAVE YOU TO MY INBOX?!"

idk which is worse, only hearing the hearsay once, or there being little outside pushback to it.

but the fact that this is absent, that no one is investing in this *genuinely hard and nuanced communication*, let alone basic fact checking… that’s an exposed failure, and one that is only going to make things worse. but I think seeing that broken stair clearly is important.
