Here I am ‘powering’ through to a 37th place finish at the Coxhoe Trail Run over the weekend. I don’t usually do anything that even vaguely resembles cross country, so this sight is rarer than Sasquatch. #Running #ukrunchat #runchat #runsky

10 miles this morning in thick mist. Was still quite humid, but it stayed dry (it’s pouring down now). Slightly tired legs after the HM heroics last week. To be honest, any run where I avoid being bitten by a dog is a win. #running #ukrunchat #runsky

1:44:24 PB in this morning’s rather warm Newcastle Half Marathon. The plan was to get my PB, but not by 5 minutes. I got a bit carried away. Last 5k was hotter than the surface of the Sun. I’m enjoying myself here though. Honestly. #running #runsky #ukrunchat

Out early, but still a tad warm out there. Thought hogging the coastline would give me a nice breeze. I was wrong. Still, successfully worked on my Half Marathon speed in a bit of heat, so we’ll call that a win. #runchat ##ukrunchat #runsky

I was really, really brave this morning and had this done. The idea being two fold. The first is about giving credit to my legs for not letting me down. The second is if I’m struggling on a run, I can look down and remind myself to stop being a whiny tit. #running #runchat #ukrunchat

You all laughed, but shouting ‘faster you bastards’ at my Post-Marathon legs not only worked, it got me a 10k PB. To be honest, I just ran that fast to get it over with. Had it been 10k all uphill, I would have won it. Probably. #running #runchat #ukrunchat
