I haven’t had faith in this team and accepted what we are last year and nothing had changed to make me hopefully. That and baseball broke me this year

Personally I would have wanted to call up the two mlb ready SP in Syracuse, dfa montas or whatever we could, and have Holmes in the pen

I agree and I feel like if this trade didn’t go through bc it was reported the Mets thought this was too steep a price we’d see think pieces about how foolish they were for these exact reasons

My only concern is if we are trading him for a rental- specifically a guy who has basically gotten worse every year for the last few under the guise of Eric Chavez and our hitting coaches to immediately turn him around?
