The Residence is an incredibly shot series. The show cuts for both sharp comedic effect and for scenes integral for the plot. It's also one of the most engaging murder mysteries I've ever watched.

Out by Kalos Chu is a free musical on youtube that confronts the uncomfortable dissonance between queerness and feelings of familial obligation.

I do recommend it. Perhaps it speaks best to queer Asian-Americans, but the themes aren't so niche that it cannot speak to others.

Currently watching the Netflix show School Spirits. It's a good mystery show and an even better showing of the lasting effects of how parents' actions and expectations shape their children.

I think LAX perfectly encapsulates the problems with a modern capitalist approach to business. When a company drops all pretenses of humanity, it becomes all the simpler for it to treat the consumers as a vehicle for commerce rather than people.
