Nations have borders. Ours was resolved long with our neighbors long before anyone in our electorate was conceived.
We like every nation having laws governing who can properly cross the international border into our country. We have to enforce our laws or they become meaningless.

The preferred action in hindsight is family planning.
One shouldn’t have children they can’t afford.
Most male politicians don’t care, Democrat or Republican beyond the value of the vote for taking a position.

I’d prefer we didn’t carve images of our leaders into the stone sides of our mountains.
Golden calves should be melted down and sold for the market value of the metal.
And in a proper Christian manner, the proceeds used to feed the poor.

The essence of government is protecting its citizens.

He did all he could with the time and resources available.
