As promised, here is my tutorial to get head tracking in #RahiTuber !! I'm sorry if it's a bit long, but I wanted to make sure that I documented every single step. Let me know if it works for you! itch.io/post/12801409

Also, I hope no one gets overhyped. The solution I've found only tracks 3 axes of head movement with a reasonably low CPU usage, so it's pretty basic. Don't expect any kind of facial gesture recognition, only yaw, pitch and roll.

I totally understand it. I wanted to keep my model movement "simple" with only mouse tracking, like a puppet. But every game capturing the cursor in a different way drives me crazy, so I'm looking for alternate ways to puppeteer it (I even thought about modding a controller to use as a pedalboard..)

Oh, true! I think I'll just title it "DIY head tracking" so it's clear it's more of a "hack" than a feature/integration

Is it OK if I post it in RahiTuber's Tutorials thread? I'm not done writing it or taking screenshots, so it might still take me a day or two to publish... Also, here's a tease 😅

What if I told you face tracking is a thing...? Expect a tutorial soon (and I mean SOON) 😏

I just watched the VOD and the moment it worked was so exciting!!
Since states will be revamped soon, can I ask for an way to chain them? Something like "Run X state Y.y seconds after this one".
It's currently doable with HTTP requests and timers, but I think it would be great for complex animations
