What instrument did you play? 😊 And do you still play it?

But, in my experience, I have found that most people don’t think about exactly *what* they mean when they use the phrase “common sense”. They simply have a *feeling* about what the phrase means, and they usually will check in with others to confirm or invalidate their internal assessment.

Humans begin developing what is considered common sense when they are very young. That “sense” continues to be refined and honed as they grow, all the way until they have a decent amount of experiences they can look back on and use when making decisions.

I agree with you but I will put this out there to consider:

In my experiences, I have found that what you consider to be “common sense”, and what another person considers “common sense” can be VERY different, depending on SEVERAL factors that people don’t even think are related.

I’d like to specifically point out that, if it is in fact true that the last budget surplus was in 2001 (sorry, I generally don’t follow the budget stuff), then there was NOT a surplus during OR EVEN AFTER Trump’s previous attempts to dismantle the US government. Just sayin’.

First, I’d swap Andrea Mitchell for Nicole Wallace. Then I’d say next in line for me are Lawrence O’Donnal, then Joy Reid.

Lovely girl! I just got a new man in my life about a week and a half ago… he just showed up at our place. 🥰 That last pick is from when we first met him. The little guy became an indoor cat in the span of 3 days!

Oh, and his name is Kevin. 😁😆🤭😊

I get why strangers start to love you… but why would people you know start to hate you? Is it because you get a lot of attention from strangers?

Haha! Oops! My fella can’t listen to the Van Halen song Panama when he is driving… I believe he has gotten 3 speeding tickets because of that song! 😆

It makes sense to me!

That’s really interesting to see the different colored mosses and/or lichen. Have you ever gotten the chance to see a “Rainbow Eucalyptus”? They are lovely, and this image reminds me of them. 😊

I can totally relate! I live in Hawai`i now, been here almost 20 years. I’m originally from Oregon. It took me several years of hearing Hawaiian pidgin everywhere I went, every DAY, before I could understand most people without asking them to speak slower! 😆 😂
November 24, 2024 at 3:37 AM
Yeah, naw, you can have well more than half of my memories, so long as I get to be debt-free, live a comfortable life as I age, and leave a nice nugget for my girl and a handful of people that are super important to me.
November 23, 2024 at 10:51 AM
Hmm…. Absolutely ALL of my memories? Or can curate the collection of memories I fork over? I mean, the *majority* I would HAPPILY hand over. But there are some super special and important memories I do not EVER want to lose. Like there’re key memories I do not EVER, EVER lose. But the majority?

… what-all the friendly guy was saying… which was an absolute first for me! I finally, and deeply, understand why foreign tourists, especially Asian tourists, smile and nod in response to almost everything said to them, even if that isn’t quite applicable to what is being said to them in English.
November 23, 2024 at 10:17 AM
Interestingly enough, that is the exact same face I gave to a waiter when I visited Louisiana near the turn of the century. I *knew* he was speaking English, but for the life of me, I could not understand a word he said. I felt weird and was somewhat embarrassed because I couldn’t understand…
November 23, 2024 at 10:11 AM
Oh! And in case it wasn’t clear via context from my prior comments, I moved to, and currently live in, Hawai`i. I’ve been here for just under 20 years, but Oregon, particularly the PDX area, will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart! 🥰❤️😊🤭

I look forward to seeing what all you have to share/present. 😊

100% SAME!! 😝 😆 😂 🤣
November 23, 2024 at 9:37 AM
Same. Of course, I had the OG version live with me from 2015ish through… well, to be perfectly honest, it’s been 100% that sentiment ever since he appeared to be an actual possibility.
