Definitely some modernized form of bad check scam - they "send" you $2000 for the "project", ask you to forward some portion of it, and then their payment bounces / is fraudulent / was money laundering etc etc etc.

Agree that the spring/summer factories are very nice!

WotC's out of touch B&Rs and wild mismanagement of Legacy are at least bullish for fan-organized nostalgia formats. And the old cards are gorgeous. We're all silver linings here.

Agree this is an intensely disappointing B&R. Citing ONE diverse challenge result as evidence of legacy format health is laughable.

If MTGO play is a miserable meta (it clearly is) then testing before big paper events is miserable too-- and why invest to go if I can't test? And so the format dies.

The art vs. the play experience: "see that kitten with wings floating over my head? I'm about to throw it at your face"

won't even comment on unsleeved because that's just how it was back then. But upside down cards in hand - the mad man!

Lava Hounds is another card I’ve liked for a long time that’s sadly underplayed

Quicksand is spicy, I’m curious how that played out! I like creature lands in sligh too, but favor the Factory over Encampment

I’m not sure this is a deck that really wants Wasteland? Agree on “ambitious”
