There's a paper to be written about how it reflects on the relative "revered insularity" US forces from the populace and how that removes them from the ideal of the citizen soldier and how narratives of individualism as opposed to training as a unit feed it (or I'm reading too much into it)

Drill and Ceremony hasn't really been prioritised compared to UK and Cth, mostly because this sort of public duties work hasn't really been that big for most units, and most internally performative "drillmastering" is done via PT as opposed to on the drill square

The army having the numbered "War Lords" like the old British admiralty (IK 1st and 2nd sea Lord's are still called that) is a very fun touch. The sheer amount of duplication is perfect, almost every major posts having to compete with someone else is brilliant.

Norfolk Island, another Australian Territory with only 2133 apparently has a 58% tariff/trade barrier with the US warranting a 28% tariff. The Island's government is as independent as a rural council in Queensland, has no separate trade or tax policy from Australia. IDK how you'd even enforce it.

The Heard and McDonald Islands, governed by The Australian Antarctic Division, and inhabited exclusively by penguins, seals, and seabirds, apparently has a 10% tariff/trade barrier with the US which demands a reciprocal response.
