Additionally, I’d like to add the Silo series: Wool Shift and Dust. So chilling and epic. The TV show is pretty good but like all books to movies, the books are better! (We get to be inside the character’s minds)

(Deepsix) and a crew is stranded on the surface with the rogue planet coming closer! It’s so finely detailed I really felt like I was there. Cannot recommend these books enough.

The Hutch Chronicles has a continuing thread of finding intelligent life outside our solar system. There are clues (statues found on Titan - “The Engines of God”) that a species does exist but perhaps no longer. Or a planet that is on a collision course with a gas giant but has ruins on the surface

The Thrawn trilogy was Star Wars at it finest. I’ll never forget the sentiment of Thrawn who said,”you can learn a lot about a culture by their art.” (Paraphrased) That stuck with me and I use that in my academic film analysis and papers. It hasn’t failed me yet!!

That series is amazing! The spiders creep me out but not enough to put it down. I know he’s big into spiders so I let it be what it is!🤣 Fantastic story!

I’m three books into the Hutch Chronicles by Jack McDevitt. Really enjoy the imagination of his stories. Deepsix was epic!

Hi! I’m new… I just started watching Arcane by my daughters recommendation and I like it a lot. Great story so far and looking forward to 2nd season. Your list would look a lot like mine if I had one😊
