It's the doctors that I hope suffer the most from this illness. Psychologising this illness is why this illness is so bad. It's often *the reason* why patients suffer so much.

I think a lot of the lost trust in medicine has to do with how patients are treated when doctors don't know the patient's problem. Patients are frequently blamed and told their symptoms are psychosomatic. Even if they're psychosomatic, there's no actual treatments, so the treatment is "magic".

It's worse than that. Anyone with good credit and a halfway decent job can get a loan for this amount. These weren't necessarily rich people. They could have just been random people wanting to kill with impunity.
