Went to the local zoo & enjoyed their lighted sculptures made for a really eye catching attraction. Their displays guided you along through the zoo & made very effective use of their space.

Made it out to King Richard’s Faire & had a nice time. The new location they moved to feels like it has a lot of kinks to work out. But still was fun to see performances like Jaques ze Whipper & his comedic snark. 🔥

I have never seen a cathedral quite as striking & stunning as Gaudi’s Segrada Família.
It truly was a cathedral of light & pictures will never do justice to seeing this in person. It was breathtaking.

In Barcelona i got to see several of Gaudi’s works from his first house he was commissioned to design all the way to Casa Batllo & Mila. We even toured though Park Güell.

We enjoyed wandering around Madrid & seeing the Royal Palace & Plaza de Mayor. My father had some delicious restaurant suggestions & a place to watch an outstanding flamenco performance.

Touring around Madrid was very special for me. Our family lived out here when i was roughly in kindergarten. Seeing Toledo & the Windmills of Consuegra that inspired Don Quixote meant a lot remembering my mother.

We even got to visit the western most point of Europe at Cabo da Roca in Portugal.

The peacocks around the castle were no strangers to humans & showed no fear of all the people wandering around.
The Sintra area was gorgeous & the palace had a lot of history that our guide shared with us along the way.

Hard to express just what an amazing experience it was to see Coldplay perform again with @ralkor.bsky.social . The one thing I didn’t expect was a surprise puppet performance. Only rough part was getting back late after the concert.

Been enjoying the trip visiting family & the nostalgia. We used to rent a beach house most summers growing up & many fond memories were made.
