Well done Mittens and well done Dave for your mouse catching skills.
Dot used to catch leaves and proudly present then to us when she was a kitten.

I am also on Tamoxifen. I am anticipating lower heating bills in the winter.

Right. Game on.

Is this starting a trend for the most unusual / glamorous / extreme locations for cancer treatment? Love it.

I have to confess I don't know what any of that means (Cricket and Formula 1 for me rather than basketball). But it sounds very impressive and you sound happy. You are an inspiration.

Good luck to your son this week. My 18yo also finishes A level this week and my 16yo finishes GCSEs.
Emotional times - excited for my 18yo for what lies ahead but had a little quiet weep today.

Your post made me griN.

Just read your more recent post about your run in with e-scooters, dogs and wet floors. Made me chuckle especially after this post.

A lack of photos means you were having an excellent Time.

Purple. But it's a tough choice.
May 22, 2025 at 5:40 PM
That's the tie I was waiting for.
May 22, 2025 at 1:32 PM
Oh no...the pressure. I've already made one choice.😂
The mixed.

Lime green. Because then I get my favourite tie.

Ooh nice. I voted yellow but I see now I was wrong.
May 21, 2025 at 4:46 PM
Yellow please

I'll go for red to start. Oh gosh, is it really half term coming up? What with a late Easter and A levels and GCSEs in our house this year (meaning 2 perpetually ravenous teenage boys at home on and off, I love it really) I have no idea what's going on.

My son also turns 18 next month and my youngest is 16 tomorrow. These moments are to be treasured.

He might never be too old but he might be too tall. I'd need a footstool to try that with my 16yo and 18yo.

Can't match your tulips but a big fan of heucheras.

Love that there is a paper on this. My post chemo hair grows vertically upwards. I am growing it longer in the hope it might flop over. 3 inches of hair and still it grows upwards. It does however mean that I am now 5ft 4in rather than 5ft 1in.

That can't be good for you to be in that position all day. Maybe after a few hours, cross your left leg over your right instead and switch your book/the remote control to the opposite hand.

Hello again. Was just thinking yesterday I hadn't seen a post from you for a while. Good to hear from you. I went for a counselling session today (still have 2 immunotherapies to go but the intense treatment is done). It seems when the focus on the physical becomes less, the mind tries to catch up.

If they were known to attract pollinators you could call yourselves the Bee (Mc)Gees.

Sorry about that! I'll be quiet now.
