Visit to see the family in Adelaide South Australia & managed to get out for a walk to check out the local bird life. These Sulphur-crested Cockatiels were very obliging!

Lovely bright morning at Brandon Marsh today where l surprised this amorous pair of Oyster Catchers along with a pair of Little Grebe with stood out well in the bright sunshine.

Cold morning at Stanford Reservoir last Friday but Spring is on the way as the Buzzards are pairing up, l caught this pair swooping over some Ducks that were feeding on the field below them, needless to say a general panic ensued!

Blatherwycke in Northamptonshire yesterday to try and see the Hawfinch that have been there!
Unfortunately they didn’t show but l did see a pair of Little Owls 🦉 unfortunately no photos and a pair of Eygptian Geese that seem to be quite a common sight this Winter.

First trip over to Stanford Res since before Xmas, it was good to get a sunny day as it’s been very dismal so it was great to get some decent photos of the Greylag Geese,?Eygptian Goose, Goldeneye and a lovely Mistle Thrush first one I’ve seen for quite a while!

I finally managed to get some decent photos of the Bullfinches that have been hanging around Stanford Reservoir last week also seen were Stonechat & a pair of Shelduck.

Cold but sunny couple of days over at Stanford Reservoir last week where a Goldeneye Duck was spotted in the distance, a rear view of a Kingfisher highlighting its wonderful colours and some sort of White Mallard Duck as well.
Also found this Long-tailed Tits nest now the undergrowth dying off!
