I only leave a cluster of long established, dark brown echiverias outside, at the side of my drive. Extremely dry there (pin kerb and drive) plus it is a southerly aspect.
No idea of the name. Was a Church Summer Fair purchase eight years back and just loves being left alone outdoors.

Mine have been outdoors until yesterday. Much colder temperatures forecast. They are now in the greenhouse with fleece to protect them.
