⚠️ A friendly reminder ⚠️ please share!
Fake spider webs can pose a real danger to autumn wildlife that can become trapped and unable to break free.
Help wildlife this Halloween by making sure your celebrations don't become frightful for nature.

Looking for places to go on a fungi foray? Visit one of our nature reserves!🍄Find a fungi hotspot near you 👉 www.northwaleswildlifetrust.org.uk/autumn-wildlife/fungi

Remember some fungi are poisonous so never eat any you find unless you're 100% certain about its identity.

It's #InternationalBatNight on Saturday - a fab time to spot bats! Warmer nights mean they can be spotted flying in search of their next meal - especially around woodlands and even in our gardens.

What a fantastic day at our Cors Goch Nature Reserve!

It was fantastic to share the experience with other wildlife lovers, learning more about the invertebrates that often go unnoticed but play such a vital role in our ecosystems.

It's the time of year when our grey seals are looking to find safe places to have their pups.

Read Molly Jones's blog about this part of their lives and ways that we can help them succeed. You can also find out about our seal spotting event on Anglesey next Friday!

The fantastic Llanfair Fyw community group began as volunteers at our Graig Wyllt nature reserve, but are now establishing themselves as an independent, grass-roots community group who are seeking their own funding to deliver localised actions for nature.

This is their story so far...

It’s not just plants that photosynthesise! Solar powered sea slugs get their names from eating the chloroplast in algae, which lets them use photosynthesis as a source of energy. Sea slugs that do this are called “sacoglossans” and are often a vivid green colour. 💚
