-The role of a shifting immigration landscape, including federal crackdowns pushing essential workers out of key industries and destabilizing the Minnesota workforce.

• Nearly 1 in 5 nuclear workers are union members, the highest union density in the energy sector

• Nuclear energy produces the fewest greenhouse gas emissions of any power source.
• Runs at 93% capacity year-round (wind averages 35%)

Nuclear + renewables = Minnesota’s most affordable, reliable, and worker-friendly path to a carbon-free future.

Pairing nuclear with wind and solar could cut the cost of achieving 100% clean electricity by 37%.

Minnesota is the only state in the nation with a full ban on new nuclear plants.

That restriction limits our clean energy options — and makes it harder to meet our climate goals affordably and reliably.

In Minneapolis, far too many workers. face threats of having pay stolen, being punished for speaking up, or worse. These are systemic issues, not isolated incidents. In fact, 1 in every 4 construction workers in Minnesota experiences some form of wage theft.

Thankfully, @smith.senate.gov and @klobuchar.senate.gov joined with 97 other Senators to strike the AI regulation moratorium. You rarely see 99 Senators voting together on an issue. Which makes it all the more odd that all four MN Republicans in Congress supported the provision.
