Let’s say tomorrow Google stops displaying ads again search results, but shows a banner to give people the option to turn on ads back on. What percentage of people turn ads back on because they “value” them so much? 10% max? 5%?

I don’t value relevant ads. I value no ads. I value the search engine or AI giving me the best and unbiased results. I think you are making an argument that people will tolerate relevant ads. That is different than valuing them.

I’ve had Smart Features turned off for as long as I can remember due to previously sketchy practices it involved. I guess Google is just piling on to the reasons to turn it off.

I detect no lies. I mean, if you like blowouts or games that turn on bizarre mistakes, I am sure they are entertaining. Just because the skill isn’t nearly as good as the NFL, it doesn’t mean that it isn’t entertaining in other ways. To each their own.

Reminds me of the “death panel” scares from the ACA debate. Only now we actually have political appointees saying who can have vaccines.

Ok, so Fox is not to blame at all. Got it. Assuming that is true, what is a better alternative than YTTV? Basic Sling with individual subscriptions with Fox, ESPN, etc.?

I am with Malkiel on this. I am just rebalancing to my target allocation. I like the natural sell high, buy low, with zero market-timing thoughts.

Check your task manager for all the corporate spyware. I have a perfectly capable laptop from a hardware perspective that is impossible to use for certain development tasks due to a litany of corporate spyware. When the accountants and lawyers spec out the devices, productivity suffers.

Baseball is the only major sport where you can do this during play. This is a joke in basketball, hockey and football. There is just too much going on. Golf’s walk-and-talks can be interesting, too.
