Counted cross stitch item on 14 Lambswool Aida. In the center is an evergreen tree dusted with snow and a bright gold star on top. On each side on two levels of snow, there are animals in dark brown such as deer, squirrels, moose, rabbits, foxes. A border of pine cones, evergreen branches and red berries surrounds the design. Framed (not as well as I should have framed it--a little crooked) by me in a green wooden frame.

One of my fifty-cent specials. In 1981, I went to The Emporium on my lunch break and came across a table full of ornaments, all selling for 50 cents. This has come 44 years and over 3000 miles with us.

This is a post I saw recently. The part that says that the GOP has conspired to destroy American democracy tells me that that could be classified as "treason". It's tiny print, and long, but it's spot on.
