If you're a professional software engineer and you've tried Agent and assumed it's just not capable of building production-grade software and that it just goes of the rails—it's because you haven't learned how to prompt effectively. Read this to get started: replit.discourse.group/t/pair-progr...

I’m excited to try out the Market Opportunity Navigator (wheretoplay.co) next week with my collaborators to hone in on where we want to use the 1 day 5 customers 3 prototypes approach to customer discovery (check out learnmorefaster.com).

So inspiring: a woman founder starts a food hospitality business teaching school children to cook. She turned the business into a tech-driven franchise business to empower women to be business owners and the software takes care of 85% of the operations. 💪🏽

Great advice from Shaun Clowes (CPO Confluent): “Spend 80% of your time focusing on the external factors—customers, competitors, and market conditions—rather than internal processes. What are the external forces shaping this project? How does the market view this problem?”

Managed to add a Google Drive API integration today using Replit Agent. It’s amazing what I can do with prompt engineering in an hour that used to take weeks and, if hiring contractors, thousands of dollars in billable hours.

I’m feeling fully confident in building a product-grade SaaS using Replit Agent, and doing so in days instead of months. Looking forward to using Cursor Composer next to build native mobile apps.

It’s been interesting pairing with software engineers and teaching them how to do software development using Replit Agent. They have so many engrained behaviors and tooling preferences that they fail to see the full potential of the new and hyper-performant workflow Agent offers.

Replit Agent is a game changer. Building complicated apps is quickly becoming non-trivial for those who are engineers. When o1 Pro, that shift is accelerating even faster.

Reading No Rules Rules. Netflix’s culture of immediate direct feedback (with positive intent) feels like how organizations should work by default. It’s amazing that Reed takes public 360 feedback from across the org, as well as affirming direct feedback even in meetings.
