moonchild luna faceplanted on the ground as much as i want to keep my socials/persona/online presence happy and cozy all the time, it can be so hard some days to even attempt to figure out what i want to do... a lot of aspects of streaming and content creation makes me so happy, but then there are times when i get negatively emotionally affected by the same things that made me happy before... for the past year, vtubing has been both an escape from the stress of irl stuff, and a safe space for me to feel like i can be free to express myself. not just creatively through silly art or doodles or chat/branding designs, but also i felt safe to be more authentic and true to myself while vtubing, without the limitations/risks of if i were fully myself irl (where it could negatively impact school/work/other/etc). i had already considered the fact that, even while hiding behind a vtuber persona, i'd still need to have some limitations and social rules/etiquette to follow, as well as general things to avoid and be wary of falling into. i had only thought that stuff could affect me to a certain extent, and i thought i'd be pretty much fine and was confident/proud of myself of being able to manage/avoid stuff... or so i thought. unsurprisingly to most, i am just another fellow chronically online person of this generation, who happens to have gotten used to certain methods of coping with the infamous "loneliness epidemic", that involve content creation and social media. sometimes i forget that i don't actually have all my shtuff together, and get too comfortable in the "safe" internet space that i created/curated, and i let myself act on emotions or let myself be too fearless in attempting to experience something new. i probably shouldnt/cant ramble more bc of word limit, and also bc of probably better to stop once ive vented enough out, and not go overboard with this kinda stuff on public socials... if you read all the way here, thank you for caring enough to read, whether it was out of boredom/curiosity or actual genuine caring. altho i dont want to enable myself to become too parasocial (streamer side version) nor become (more) emotionally dependant on, and used to, ppl of the interwebs being nice to me
