Hee JadeTank thanks for following along .. I agree... I took out the R1396 left side is on 50V right side has 570 ohm to ground.. hmm that is not good.. have to investigate further, but thats for another day.. R1396 is not mounted in all models btw

Pressing beam finder gives a sweep but offset to the right, I did find an burnt out resistor very close to the switch of the beam finder.. but turns out its part of the "Adjust Vertical Shield Voltage" circuit will replace tomorrow and take it from there

Here working on a 475 no horizontal sweep.. deep dive RTFM first step..
