Zoey is 12, that's amazing! And makes me feel old! We got our own Halloween voidcat a few years ago and I hadn't realized how wonderful snuggly walking darkness could be. Happy birthday, Zoey.

Oh yeah, definitely. You will never catch me in a long sleeve shirt, but my college roommate, who was also on the spectrum, wore shorts 365 days a year. The first time I saw him in long pants was the day of his first job interview.

I had never heard of "spiral flame resonance" before. I typed it into Google and received a page of results in what looked like English but was barely comprehensible, and a single paper from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers on resonant flame jets. The paper actually made the most sense.
