JOHN IRESON aka Jerson (c.1733-1818) from Arthingworth but spent most of his adult life at Haselbech. A labourer and also well-documented as a patient of Northampton General Infirmary.

HEATWAVES IN NORTHAMPTONSHIRE 1818

1818 HEATWAVES IN NORTHAMPTONSHIRE
Extremely hot weather is not just a modern thing in England! The summer of 1818 was noted as a period of high temperatures and in June and July with exceptionally low rainfall.
Local evidence can be found in Clipston parish registers where, this note was added:
