I found the markers locally at the Forks Market. The ones I have are called Stamp a Square markers by Ooly. It's a set with twelve colours, meant to be used for pixel art.

I'm keeping it fairly simple, each segment of a piece represents 100 words. Line piece = 4 segments, therefore 400 words. I'm starting with this and will make it more complicated later.
