It's impossible to find any information on Lintico's website about their manufacturing sites or how they ensure that all their values are upheld along the supply chain. Digging a bit deeper in the www, it turns out that they deliver from China. Highly sketchy!

Good point! I read that while BlueSky was initially hosted on AWS, it's not any longer: newsletter.pragmaticengineer.com/p/bluesky

I have dreams about this with my current project. 😆 I am taking so much time with some details, but with all the snow we got up here it feels the event season is far away and I can afford it. 🪡

This is so cool! I will have some leftover linen when my new dress is finished and I am so gonna try wearing a strophium this season! Did you use a pin to secure it in place?

Early-medieval clothes are usually made from squares to avoid fabric waste. After cutting the band on the bias, there's this leftover triangle now (not pictured) that I can only use for patching as it's too small for anything else. Well, maybe I can get one underarm gusset out of it.

Thank you, this is fantastic!

On the bias means diagonally to the weave in a 45° angle, like pictured. This allows the fabric to stretch and thus it aligns with the curved neckline. Pure magic! ✨ Yes, the neckline incl. the pleating is 100% handsewn.
