Apparently 16 F-35A's are paid for and are currently in production; agreement in place for 88 total. No news of contractual cost of refusing 72 units.

Must feel like getting into your Tesla and encountering a blank screen on power-up because Tesla servers are down.
Or the fear of foreign countries of not having their F-35 fighter jets unuseable because the interface can't call "home".

Give them the 88 less 16 that Canada spoke for but haven't paid. At $42,000 per hour to operate vs Gripen's $2,000 hourly cost, Canada can't afford them. Sounds like the tech will be compromised anyway. Also would be good for our pilots to turn ignition and not find out somebody else is in control.

EU military stronger than Russia's because of #Ukraine taking out a sizeable chunk of Russia's hardware, personnel and recently oil infrastructure. Ukraine needs compensation, in the form of frozen Russian assets.

Last time I checked if you turn off a data center it consumes less resources. If you turn off a human you go to jail. That distinction used to be important.

I suspect PMMC looked at the potential revenue from the additional capital gains tax versus the investment capital all these projects will require, and decided not to spook investors.
