A lot of that build was on the back of circumstances that won't be repeated.

The launch of MLS Next Pro led to a bunch of creative signings that other teams weren't thinking of. Now, other teams are aware.

So you won't get that, but the hope is some of the talent on Crew 2 can be developed

The roster build that started in 2023 - JRR, Schulte, Zawadski, Arfsten, Farsi - was super salary cap friendly

Because of this, we have gotten used to not spending on impact players the way most MLS teams do

The Crew will need to sign players in the TAM range, it's the reality of the situation

With the roster decisions being made without a coach in place, I wonder if it changes any of those decisions.

And I'm with you, this roster is going to need more than 4 this winter
