I first registered as a Republican when I learned politics. Less government was appealing to me. I soon learned what that really meant. Less government intervention for church and corporations, and control for the rest of us.

"No taxation without representation" (it's a little wordy, but it worked for the revolution). Sick of Republicans gerrymandering and ripping civil rights away.

So the right hasn't been inciting violence for years on end now? Effing hypocrites. Not only do they actively preach for it, they've shown that they don't care when it happens. They laugh and mock. So spare me the pearl clutching and do some self reflection. Zero self awareness from the rubes.

The right has always been the originator of cancel culture and never gave a damn about free speech. They just wanted to be able to be racist in the open. Most of the comments aren't even bad, but the F ur feelings crowd is all in their feelings.

Some parents may not be equipped to handle teaching a child to read. There are so many variables. They may not have time, kid may have special needs, etc. To sum it up with a simple "its lazy parents" sounds like a MAGA standpoint. The world is more complex than that.

Not true. It may contribute, but shouldn't a civilized society be able 2 help those who aren't fortunate enough 2 have hands on parents? In a society ran by billionaires that see u as nothing more than a means to make $ parents may work all day. Is it 2 much 2 ask to ensure kids can read?

That's what they do. They strip services little by little. Make only parts private. Then divert money away. They say "hey look! It's not working. It needs to be privatized." It happens slowly. People get frustrated. Scapegoat needed. They run ads, convince some. Boom! u have private insurance.

When will America understand that healthcare is an investment in its people? Keep people healthy and unburdened, and they can contribute to society. MAGA would rather see you die than get healthcare. They see people as replaceable commodities, and women as a vessel for those commodities.

I've seen it 2 many times. People left to suffer, be given up on or disabled because their state left them out to dry. Florida has some wonderful doctors, but if you don't get the treatment you need under an emergency they will boot you out the door until a problem arises. Good luck working now.

I've had a call twice. Once was short and sweet. The other was what you said. I had volunteers come to my door once to make sure I was going to vote and if I had a plan. Wasn't an official pollster though. I also know that the census use to do a lot of those polls, and provide data. Not anymore.

Say NO to the Save act. It's just another tool to limit voter turnout, and it certainly might pass within the next 2 years.

At this point to have any sense of security the lead needs to be 5+ points. Voter turnout is just not enough. MAGA comes out to vote. Plus, I think some of them lie when getting poled.

I hope so. The whole checks and balances thing doesn't work when all three branches are controlled by extremists of the same ideology. Will America survive till the next mid-term? The Save Act will hurt dems chances of getting a fair election. MAGA are placing the pieces to retain their power.

Why haven't we gotten any jobs reports, or any other data that the government reports monthly? I know the obvious answer, but MAGA loves them a jobs report. Are the agencies under a directive not to report? Is it pandemonium? Did they fire the report guy? Where is it?!!!
