Chilly here. Sheep & chickens done, food put out for the garden birds. They're back in force after the autumn lull - breakfast v gratefully received. The last roses of the year are currently in vases in the kitchen. More buds to come but with the drop in temps I doubt they'll open.

His conformation was awful and he had a real mix of component parts but he was the nicest family companion we could have wished for. We re-homed him when he was 4 and have only had him for 6 years. Not long enough. But then, it never is. ❤️

Thank you. He was't 'a looker' - he was result of an ill-advised, undoubtedly accidental mating somewhere in rural France - but he was a lovely dog with the nicest nature and a real home-loving companion.

😍 I love market cheese stalls... invariably more interesting than the average supermarket selection. Altho, our local Leclerc is pretty good... the large Carrefour at the Baie (Avranches) is simply dire.

I like February because the days are visibly lengthening, near the coast the mimosas are in flower and spring is on the horizon.

He is the loveliest lad. 🥰 But he's the product of a mating which should never have taken place... rural France, etc. 🙄 He had joint / ligament problems from the age of 2 - had to have plates in one leg to stabilise movement. But he has a very nice life with us. ❤️
