I’ve been seeing them a lot lately. Given how few have sold, even in Vancouver, it’s probably the same one each time but I keep forgetting to check the number plate to be sure.

I never believed Kamala could win, sadly. If a white woman couldn’t do it, a WOC had zero chance. Especially since she was parachuted in without a primary to elect her as the party’s choice. I think the Dems lost voters with that move.

I had to empty the dishwasher because I needed to put dirty dishes in it to clear the counter I needed to use to dirty more dishes. It’s endless.

My mom always used wax paper, magically folded. Piping bags probably existed, but not for the home cook on a budget!

Progress, not perfection, is a lesson that has been hammered into hubs and me these last two years. It’s pretty effing hard to unlearn all the “things come easy” and “quick learner” and “fast = better” ethos of the previous mumblety decades, but we’re getting there.

My fermented food of choice is sauerkraut. Kuhne brand, in the barrel shaped jar. Superb stuff. I’ve tried both booch and kimchi and they were okay, but kraut is my fav.

I got only two wrong, and I’ve been to Wales all of once. But I’m familiar with similar slang (especially related to time) from other places like South Africa and parts of Canada. I genuinely didn’t know what dwt meant, and I thought one question was a trick question.
