From my perspective the only thing people really talked about was how uncomfortable the Don Corneo stuff is and that one spoiler that everyone knows.

I was in the same boat when I first played it, it's definitely weird how small a portion of the game is actually talked about culturally compared to how often it's talked about as a whole.

PS era FF games love their wacky little psychedelic motion blur filters and sudden camera changes every 5 seconds

YEEAAH I don't hate Blitzball by any means but it feels kinda like a replacement for the card minigames and it doesn't quite hold up to their gold standard imo

reading this while watching my sister drown in ffx blitzball mechanics. hard agree
