Rupert Murdoch is 94. Don’t bet the farm. Rich people have access to health care we haven’t ever heard of, and cost is no obstacle.

Ortiz’ 2025 salary was around $800k. Clase’s was about $4.5 million, as part of his $20 million contract.
But, I guess it wasn’t enough to get by on those dollars. Gotta cheat.

I’m only mildly concerned about my own gender. Rarely, if ever, is the gender of anyone else on my mind. I’m more concerned about how often some people in power weaponize gender as a moral imperative. As if.

The point American voters are making is that getting elected should mean more than simply being granted the opportunity to run for reelection with campaign money grifted from dark money donors during their term in office.

“Back to work” suggests there was work being done before the shutdown. I submit the shutdown only made it more obvious that there wasn’t any work being done in the first place. The shutdown is just a finger, poking us all in the eye. Useless weasels, living on the dole.
