Hands are already hurting from cutting leaf shapes from freezer paper. Haven't begun to cut fabric. Squeezed in a trip to Michael's (disappointing) and then Cotton Candy Fabrics, for the perfect white with a dainty print. Next step - cutting the 200+ leaves for bunches, & 200+ circles for berries.

I finally repotted my amaryllis that I started from seeds 2-1/2 years ago. They were a "little" pot bound. I don't expect them to bloom for another 2 to 5 years. Maybe I'll still be here.

I forgot to not look up while walking on sloping terrain this morning. I had to check out the large chunk of wood that landed in an old lot and see where it came from. Fortunately, I only took a harder step down than I had planned.

I spent some time today planting flowers at the office where I work. Despite the fact that it was raining, I still had to pull the hose out. The chestnut tree does a great job of keeping the walkway dry.

I fully expected the mess of blossoms on the path to the office this morning - we had a LOT of rain yesterday. I didn't expect to find a bird's nest (the pile on the left). It broke my heart to find 2 shattered eggs under the blossoms that I swept up.

The cherry blossoms are little bit late this year. The trees had their first ever pruning last year.
