It just means the DM is amazed by your ingenuity, feeling overwhelmed at the awesomeness of it, and needs a little extra time to form their thoughts. It's gonna be spectacular!

I do agree, it seems to be an apt symbol of the overall approach of the project; why do it properly when you can do it cheaply 😕

Afaik he didn't bet anyone's life on the controller. It wasn't the only way to control anything, it was a convenience extension of the primary controls. Why he didn't opt for first party controller I have no idea but it didn't have an impact on safety or reliability of the controllability of the sub

This.. ai chat is fun in a video game like way where you can do stuff you can't - and wouldn't want to! - do IRL. But it feels like some are treating it more like a training tool rather than an escape and that *concerns* me

GPS as in the US military system, or "gps" as in the generic term for global navigation satellite system? I thought all GNSS devices in Europe had been using Galileo for a while now?

There's a reason the vast majority of the employees I've spoken with there are well above average on their job satisfaction, that studio is *amazing* and it seems like HR/leads are also pretty good at understanding that happy talent is good talent

So instead of leaving my car safely inside the garage where it's charging off of solar and hydro, I put expensive solar panels on it, leave it outside through 4 seasons, and drive the solar panels around where they'll get covered by rock chips and road grime? Feels like Silicon Valley investorbait..

Probably the Pioneer, but more because of the gameplay. I'm also looking forward to getting my Odyssey but I'm not entirely sure what I'll do with it as I won't really need to travel far away from anything or stay away for a long time anymore with the new direction of 'exploration'. Starlancer BLD?
