I've avoided playing Mendelssohn's Elijah for decades as it hurts so much to play (much stamina required!) but ahead of @rsno.bsky.social 's performance at #EdinburghInternationalFestival I'm listening to it and reminding myself what a gorgeous, lush piece of music it is. Can't wait!
