A very cool tree and a very energetic Thor. Tree like this have been called tree horses. A couple of years ago I saw some similar ones in Presqu'ile Provincial Park on Lake Ontario.

On this St. Patrick's Day, I am fondly remembering my visit to St. Patrick's Rock (aka Rock of Cashel) last year. Such a wonderful and magnificent historic site to visit.

The majestic brown walls and medieval buildings at the historic Rock of Cashel site dominate the centre of the photo. Above the buildings are fluffy grayish white clouds. A paved road leads up the hill and to its right some of the light gray limestone outcrop is visible topped in places with patches of green and brown grass.
