While hiking in Wash state yesterday, this barred owl swooped in silently from behind me and slammed into my head with its talons (no blood but a sore noggin). I thought a large branch had hit me, until I saw it winging away. #birds

Five Things I Did Dear Elon, 1. I vacuumed, dusted and cleaned my bathrooms. 2. I cooked a pot roast for my neighbor. Her SNAP benefits have been cut, and her three kids have the measles. Her baby is in ICU. Doctors expect her baby to survive, but he is now deaf. 3. Feeling depressed about the deaf baby, I headed to our nearby national park. But the trails were closed due to staff layoffs. 4. Instead, I went home and wrote an ad to sell my Tesla; I discovered the car has lost 50% of its value. Due to tariffs, a new car is out of my reach. 5. So, I ordered a bumper sticker for my Tesla: “I bought this car before Elon became a Nazi.” P.S. None of this information is classified.
