Update, with proton experimental the game launches

So uh, the game does not start for me? I under Linux maybe that's the problem? I tried forcing proton compatibility but nothing changes

So it's about that huh. When a specific program or a set of really specific drivers doesn't work it sucks, i had a similar experience with VR. Wayland really doesn't like mirroring, streaming and stuff like that. I'm positive the wayland community will fix this one day as they did with alvr.

For all the others i understand (mastodon is a stretch) but wayland not working? I've been using wayland for my distro since last year and i don't even think about it anymore. Even VR now works under wayland.

If you want to switch to Linux my recommendation is Linux Mint. It just works.

Yes you're right. Don't tell blackmagic this but it's surprisingly easy to crack Davinci pro on linux, it's just a command on a terminal and you have it.
Yeah ik ik cracking is bad and illegal, but just so you know it is an option (since Davinci free version on Linux it's not one)
