My boss Christy McGillivray says it best here: “Action from Governor Whitmer and the state legislature is more critical than ever to maintain progress on climate action and safeguard our imperiled democracy."
We commend Gov. Whitmer for the strides Michigan has made under her leadership, but we were concerned about what was left unsaid in her Sate of the State address.

The time to act is now. None of our priorities stand a chance without fair, functional democracy.
