Help us improve our site pop-up. It asks, How happy are you with the statement document you downloaded (layout, format, information, etc.)? below are five options, each numbered and circled. Below that is "not at all satisfied" and "extremely satisfied". However, the numbers take up two lines while the range given is supposed to be for one line. Extremely satisfied lines up with 4, while Not at all satisfied lines up with both 1 and 5.

Saoirse has been upset for the past hour, looking at me and complaining. I just realized what’s wrong.

I got takeout burgers for the kids. Normally, I cut off the too crispy parts and give them to Saoirse. But tonight? No too crispy parts.

Here, I was explicitly referring to Irish, but I was also thinking of a classmate in high school. She and her mom moved off their tribe's reservation to access "better" schools, but that separation meant she couldn't speak her grandmother's language beyond basic words and phrases.
Excerpt from my blog post: I agreed that it didn’t have a lot of economic value, but from my (outsider’s) perspective, language is a window in the lives and value systems of a people. What words does a particular language have that can’t be found in English? How many words are there for types of one color, and what does that tell us about the needs of their ancestors? What kind of history is in the original names of places, before colonization altered the landscape and erased how it had been defined?

The excerpt reads: The seller is a Delaware LLC formed by Blue Owl Real Estate Net Lease Property Fund, a real estate fund managed by the New York City investment firm Blue Owl Capital. DHS has not officially announced their intention with the site, and a spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment. However, The Washington Post reported in December that DHS was interested Tremont Twp. for a possible ICE processing facility capable of holding well over one thousand detainees. The population of Tremont Township is approximately 300 people.
